A.P.C. opened its boutique in the City of Angels in 2007 to the delight of L.A. fashion cognoscenti, who had previously been forced to fly to New York or Paris or search online to check out the cult line's seasonal collections. A.P.C. Los Angeles is a compact 1,200 sq ft space and captures the city's sunny indoor-outdoor vibe from the store's shady black awning with the brand's acronym in white, to the cooling pebbles outlining the display windows. Laurent Deroo, who designed A.P.C. stores in Paris and works in French cinema as a production designer, lent his hand to the store's interior which features raw birch racks and dressing rooms. Inside A.P.C., shoppers can also find an array of books, magazines, DVDs and music.
