POSTOPOLIS! LA

During the 2nd Annual Los Angeles Art Weekend, Storefront for Art and Architecture and ForYourArt are pleased to bring you Postopolis! LA occurring on March 31 through April 4 daily from 5–11pm. Following in the footsteps of the first Postopolis! from New York 2007, this is the West Coast's opportunity to reflect on how blogs participate, redefine and lead conversations about architecture, urbanism, landscape and design.

Six world-renowned bloggers from Los Angeles, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Santiago and Sydney will convene in one L.A. location (soon to be announced) to host a series of discussions, interviews, slideshows, presentations, films and panels fusing the informal and interdisciplinary approach of the architecture blogosphere with rare to the web world, face-to-face interactions.

The six Postopolis! LA bloggers include:

• David Basulto from ArchDaily (English) / Plataforma Arquitectura (Spanish) - Santiago, Chile

• Geoff Manaugh from BLDGBLOG - San Fransico, US

• Jace Clayton from Mudd Up! - New York City, US

• Régine Debatty from we make money not art - Paris, France

• Dan Hill from City of Sound - Sydney, Australia

• Bryan Finoki from Subtopia - San Francisco, US

Over the course of five days, these six bloggers will ask over 40 participants from a facet of fields (urban planning, geology, defense, publishing, game design, oceanography, politics) to lend a presentation and interview.
